Captain Tommy Hicks started working with Jim Hudson of On The Spot Guide Service until Jim passed away on the ice with Tommy. He then started Beyond the Catch in 2013 and is US Coast Guard certified.

What a trip!
What a trip! My buddy and I were referred to Tommy through another friend and he nailed it. He went above an beyond our expectations. When we look for guides we expect two things other than fish. Hustle and being an open book for knowledge. Tommy hit both those. You can tell he has a true passion for fishing these waters and had no problem passing that along.
